    The ESM automated desulfurization system includes the latest innovations in control and operation. Our equipment relies on a Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) for even greater reliability, repeatability and ease of operation. ESM pioneers improvements for desulfurization and is eager to offer our customers the benefits of this state-of-the-art technology. Our customized PLC continuously monitors system variables such as pressures, weights and flows, information and data analysis and also makes any necessary adjustments to the system. For example, if the PLC detects a low injector weight, it will automatically start a fill sequence, ensuring that there will be enough material present to complete the injection. 

    The PLC automation of various aspects of the desulfurization process minimizes operator error. Our system also provides safety interlocks to avoid problems and ensure procedure safety. A Human-Machine Interface (HMI) helps to make the PLC easy to operate. As a result, the desulfurization operator is able to input data and access information on several screens. Each screen displays pertinent data so the operator can review all process components in a simple glance.
