The benefit of Dual Lance Injection is the reduced processing time thereby increasing throughput of a desulfurization station. The basic process consists of simultaneously injecting reagent or reagents through two separate and independent lances in the same heat. Typically, ESM will co-inject a carrier reagent with magnesium.
