PLC—Above and Beyond

    To make our service even more efficient, we've taken our PLC system a step above modern technology with our cost-per-point program. This program is made possible through the use of personal computers and the ESM on-line network.

    Each day, a collection of information and data is sent directly to us—via the PLC cost-per-point system—allowing us to monitor reagent supply and usage in our plants and the steel mills. This enables our organization to respond to customer needs within hours, rather than days or weeks. We also use the information received to generate accurate reports and provide statistical data that evaluate the product performance of our Desulfurization Process. In addition, the system allows for faster, more accurate invoicing.

    With cost-per-point, ESM is responsible for the upkeep and performance of material and equipment in your mill. As you now know, PLC cost-per point is a sophisticated system that ensures product/equipment quality and performance. Over time and through the evolvement of the system, we have continued to receive positive feedback from our clients and customers.
